New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut, MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has once again spewed venom over the farmers' movement. Talking to a private newspaper, Kangana said that rapes and murders took place during the farmers' movement. Kangana said that if the government had been weak, Punjab would also have become Bangladesh.
Kangana said that violence was spread in the name of protest in the farmers' movement. Girls were being raped during the movement. Many people were being killed and their bodies were being hanged. Kangana said that the farmers' bill should be withdrawn or else these rioters had a very long plan. They can do anything in the country. Kangana said that if our top leadership was not strong, Punjab would have become Bangladesh during the farmers' movement.
Former Congress MLA Rajkumar Verka has strongly opposed this statement of Kangana. He released a video and said that Kangana Ranaut spews venom against the leaders of Punjab. She called the farmers Khalistani. She is speaking on behalf of someone. BJP should give clarification for this. He demanded from Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann that an FIR be registered against her. Action should be taken against this under the National Security Act (NSA).
