Kangana Controversy: The release of BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut's film Emergency may be delayed. In fact, during the hearing on the petition filed in the Punjab Haryana High Court, the Censor Board has clarified that the certificate for this film has not been issued yet. Whereas only 6 days are left for the release of the film.
A petition was filed against the film Emergency by lawyer Iman Singh Khara, which was heard in the High Court. Iman Singh Khara says that the Censor Board has filed its reply in the court in which it has clarified that the release certificate of this film has not been issued yet. According to the reply, there are many complaints against the film. The certificate will be issued to the film only after hearing the complaints.
SGPC demanded the removal of this scene
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) member Gurcharan Singh Grewal said that the image of Sikhs has been shown in a wrong way in the film and the SGPC has objections to this. There is an objection to the character of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala shown in the trailer of the film. There is a problem with the content of the film. This should be changed. Wrong statements about Sikhs should be removed. The film should not be screened until it is completely changed.
Yesterday, Kangana Ranaut also released a video on blocking the film's censor certificate, in which Kangana claimed that she is receiving threats from the censor, due to which the film's release has been stopped.
Kangana said that there are many rumours that our film Emergency has got the censor certificate. This is not true. Actually, our film was approved, but due to so many death threats, its certification has been stopped. Censors are receiving many types of threats.
