Son refused to offer funeral pyre to his father: In Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, a Kalyugi son refused to cremate his father's dead body because his mother did not give him Rs 1.5 lakh. When the son did not listen to his mother, he himself performed the last rites of his husband. The victim has complained about her son to the police.

Ramswaroop Burman (65), resident of Beohari in Shahdol district, and Parvati have a son and two daughters. The only son Manoj Burman is married. Since marriage, she was having a dispute with her father regarding money. Every day Manoj used to beat me by demanding money. When his demand for money was not met, he started living in a rented house in Beohari with his family.

Before his father's death he asked for Rs 1.5 lakh

Even a day before his father's death, he went to his father's house and demanded Rs 1.5 lakh, but his mother refused to give the money. Dissatisfied with this, he left the same night. The next morning, Manoj's father, already ill, passes away. The mother called the son and informed him about his father's death and asked him to come home soon, but he told the mother, 'Send me the money.' Despite his father's dead body being in the house, the son's heart did not melt and he said to his mother, 'Sell the house and give me the money, otherwise I will not come to perform the last rites of my father.'

Wife performed last rites of her husband

Manoj did not believe his mother and switched off his mobile phone. The deceased's wife Parvati herself decided to cremate her husband and performed the last rites. Two days after her husband's funeral, Parvati along with her daughters Sushma and Suman went to Beohari police station and lodged a complaint, informing the police about the incident. However, the police also did not understand what to do, so they gave the NCR to the woman. The police themselves should not interfere in this matter.
