Kaithal, 27 August (HS). On Tuesday, people from different communities protested against MLA Leela Ram for making comments on the Valmiki community and submitted a memorandum. Youth from Jat, Jat Sikh and Saini communities took part in the protest. They were led by Pradeep Kyodak. Youth from different communities gathered outside the Mini Secretariat in the morning and raised slogans while protesting against Leela Ram.
The protesters said that if such an MLA makes indecent comments on the Valmiki community, people should not allow him to enter their village. During the protest, Pradeep Kyodak said that Leela Ram has made fun of the Valmiki community in an audio. People of the Balmiki community and other communities are deeply hurt by the statements of MLA Leela Ram. They boycott Leela Ram forcefully. They said that while referring to a Panchayat kiss, Leela Ram not only made fun of a woman from the Balmiki community but also made indecent comments on the character of people from other communities. If people have any humanity left in them, then they should not allow MLA Leela Ram to enter their village.
