Judicial custody period of 11 accused including revenue employee extended in land scam related to Hemant Soren | News India

Ranchi, 04 October (HS). The court of PMLA Special Judge Yogesh Kumar has extended the judicial custody of 11 accused, including suspended revenue employee Bhanu Pratap Prasad, till November 16 in the 8.46-acre land scam of Badgai area linked to Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Earlier, the accused who were in jail were presented before the court through video conferencing. After the appearance, the court arrested Bhanu Pratap Prasad, JMM leader Antu Tirkey, Mohd. Saddam, Mohd. The judicial custody period of Officer Ali, Vipin Kumar Singh, Priyaranjan Sahay, Irsad Akhtar, Shekhar Kushwaha, Hazaribagh court employee Md Irshad, Kolkata Registrar of Assurance employee Tapas Ghosh and watchman Sanjeet Kumar has been extended.

The presence of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who is on bail in the case, was also given. The three accused, architect Binod Kumar Singh, the original owner of the land, Rajkumar Pahan and Manoj Kumar Yadav, appeared before the judge in person.
