Joe Biden said this about Netanyahu's stance on Gaza war

US President Joe Biden said Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's approach to the war in Gaza is 'hurting Israel more than helping.' He said this during an interview on Sunday. During this period, Joe Biden also raised questions on the death of more than 30,000 people in Gaza.

According to reports, America has now changed its tune on the Israel-Hamas war. The American President's impatience with his Israeli counterpart is increasing. Joe Biden made conflicting comments on 'red line' question over Israel's attack on the southern Gaza city of Rafah. He said- Netanyahu has the right to defend Israel, he has the right to continue pursuing Hamas, but he should also pay attention to the deaths of innocent people.

Biden spoke in the Iron Dome

Joe Biden further said that the lives of 1.5 million out of 2.4 million people are in danger due to Israel's military action on Gaza's Rafah city. He has raised questions on this action of Israel. However, Biden reiterated this point, saying, “I am never going to abandon Israel. “Defending Israel is still important.” Israel must have Iron Dome (air defense system) capability. There is no red line on this, but 'you cannot kill more than 30,000 Palestinians.'

Death toll in Israel-Hamas war

According to official figures, Hamas' attack on Israel on October 7 killed 1160 people, most of whom were civilians. Hamas took about 250 people hostage, 99 of whom Israel believes are still alive in Gaza. Israeli retaliatory strikes in Hamas-controlled Gaza have killed more than 30,800 people, mostly women and children, according to Gaza's health ministry.
