JMM workers paid tribute to Lord Birsa Munda

Khunti, June 9 (HS). On the occasion of Bhagwan Birsa Munda's martyrdom day, JMM workers paid tribute to him on Sunday. Under the leadership of JMM district president Zubair Ahmed and party's central committee member Sudeep Gudiya, garlands were placed on the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda located at Tapkara.

JMM workers also garlanded the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda situated at Torpa Hill Chowk and paid homage to Birsa Munda. The District President said that Bhagwan Birsa Munda has made an important contribution in the freedom struggle. His struggle and sacrifice liberated the country. Following his principles and taking inspiration from him, JMM agitated for a separate state of Jharkhand. Due to this movement, Jharkhand became a separate state. Sudeep Gudiya said that there is a need to adopt the principles and principles of Bhagwan Birsa Munda in our lives.
