Dumka, 28 October (Hindustan Reporter). Dr. Lewis Marandi, who left BJP and joined JMM, filed nomination for Jama Assembly seat on Monday. There was a crowd of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha workers and supporters of Dr. Lewis Marandi along with the JMM candidate who came to file nomination.
Dr. Lewis Marandi, JMM's candidate from Jama Assembly Constituency, submitted his nomination papers to the Returning Officer cum Additional Collector. Dr. Louise Marandi, who came out after filing her nomination, while addressing the journalists said that today she has filed her nomination for Jama assembly seat on JMM ticket. People, one organization, I have got the support of all the people.
He said that people from the organization are with us. Block President Shivlal and Kaleshwar Soren are present. Dr. Lewis Marandi said that the enthusiasm shown by the workers today is definitely not new to me. The public has accepted me wholeheartedly and we will definitely win the Jama assembly elections.
In response to a question, he said that in such a short period of time we had conversations with the workers and public of the area. People said that Jama has not been developed yet. He said that Jama Assembly is very backward in the fields of education, roads, connectivity, drinking water, health and employment. We assure all the people of Jama Assembly that the way we have worked sincerely during our short tenure earlier. Keeping the same loyalty and faith in the public, we will solve each and every problem by talking to the public.
