J&K Police gives warm farewell to retired officers in Kathua

Kathua, May 31 (HS). Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday organized an impressive farewell ceremony at District Police Office, District Police Line Kathua to bid farewell to two retiring officers Sub Inspector Anchal Singh and Assistant Sub Inspector Balwinder Singh who retired from their active services today.

The farewell ceremony was presided over by SSP Kathua Anayat Ali Choudhary IPS, accompanied by Additional SP Kathua Paramjit Singh JKPS, Senior Prosecution Officer Munish Kumar, DYSP HQ Kathua Manjit Singh, DYSP PC Kathua Tilak Raj Bhardwaj, DYSP DAR Kathua Subhash Chander, Inspector Sanjeev Sharma and other serving police officers of District Police Kathua. On the occasion SSP Kathua interacted with the retiring police officers and reviewed the progress of welfare measures and appreciated them. Besides, he congratulated the retiring officers for the dedication displayed while discharging their duties and wished them good health and long life for the next phase of their lives. He also requested them to contribute in every possible way for the betterment of the society in the upcoming future. The retiring officers also spoke on the occasion and shared their experiences in the department and thanked SSP Kathua and other officers and staff for honouring them.
