Along with this, the company has also halved the installation charge of the six-month plan, that is, now you will have to pay only Rs 500 instead of Rs 1,000. OTT benefits in the plan include Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, ZEE5, JioCinema, Sun NXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, ALTBalaji, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, DocuBay, EpicOne and ETV Win (via Jio TV+). 100Mbps speed plan
The Rs 899 plan is available for 3 months at Rs 3,183 (including 18% GST). While the Rs 1,199 plan for 3 months is available at a price of Rs 4,244 (including 18% GST). Both plans offer 100 Mbps high speed up to 1000GB data. Both plans offer the same OTT benefits. Only the Rs 1199 plan offers additional Fancode (via Jio TV+), Netflix Basic plan and Amazon Prime Lite membership. This plan also includes 880+ TV channels.
300Mbps speed plan
The Rs 1499 plan is available for 3 months at a price of Rs 5,307 (including 18% GST). This plan offers high speed of 300Mbps up to 1000GB data. The plan offers a total of 17 OTT subscriptions including Netflix (basic), Amazon Prime Lite, Disney Plus Hotstar and Fancode (via Jio TV+). Amazon Prime Lite subscription will be available for 2 years. The plan also includes 880+ TV channels.
500Mbps speed plan
The Rs 2499 plan is available for 3 months at a price of Rs 8,847 (18% GST included). This plan offers high speed of 500Mbps up to 1000GB data. This plan offers a total of 17 OTT subscriptions including Netflix (standard), Amazon Prime Lite, Disney Plus Hotstar and Fancode (via Jio TV+). Amazon Prime Lite subscription will be available for 2 years. The plan also includes 880+ TV channels.
1Gbps speed plan
The Rs 3999 plan is available for 3 months at Rs 14,157 (including 18% GST). This plan offers high speed of 1 Gbps up to 1000GB data. This plan offers a total of 17 OTT subscriptions including Netflix (premium), Amazon Prime Lite, Disney Plus Hotstar and Fancode (via Jio TV+). Amazon Prime Lite subscription will be available for 2 years. This plan also includes 880+ TV channels.
The company reduced the installation charges
With the introduction of these quarterly plans, Reliance Jio has revised its installation pricing structure. New customers opting for the quarterly AirFiber plan will have to pay an installation charge of Rs 1,000. Whereas, this charge has been reduced to Rs 500 for customers opting for the 6-month option and has been waived off completely for customers opting for the 12-month (annual) plan.
However, a significant drawback is the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit of 1000GB. For users who stream content, this limit is likely to be substantial and they tend to reach the limit quickly every month. Once the limit is exceeded, users will have to buy a separate data add-on pack to maintain high-speed internet speeds, which may deter some customers from choosing Jio AirFiber.
