Jind, September 17 (HS). A person took a loan of Rs 12 lakh by presenting fake documents in ICICI Bank. On the complaint of the bank manager, the Civil Lines police station has registered a case of fraud against one person and some others.

ICICI Bank manager Pawan Kumar told the police in his complaint that his bank provides vehicle and personal loan services across the country. Praveen, a resident of village Pegan, contacted the branch for a personal loan. A formal application was also made. Along with which a copy of PAN card, Aadhar card copy, salary slip, bank account statement copy were submitted. On January 31, 2023, a loan amount of Rs 12 lakh was sent to Praveen's account. When Praveen's documents were scrutinized for not paying the loan installment, it was revealed that the documents submitted by Praveen were all fake. Praveen connived with some other people and committed fraud of Rs 12 lakh with the bank by committing fraud. Civil Lines police station has registered a case of fraud against Praveen Kumar on the complaint of Pawan Kumar.
