Jind, September 17 (HS). Sadar Thana Narwana Police has registered a case against a couple for duping a man of Rs. 4 lakh on the pretext of getting him a job in a hotel by sending him to Poland on work visa.
Rinku, a resident of Dharaudi village, told the police in his complaint that he has known his niece Sushma for a long time. Sushma told that she works with her husband Rajesh in sending young people abroad. She promised to get him a job in a hotel in Poland on the basis of his qualifications with a good package. In return, she demanded seven lakh rupees. In which she asked him to pay three and a half lakh rupees first and the remaining amount later.
Also, the accused promised to send him to Poland within a month and a half. Falling prey to Sushma's words, he agreed and gave Rs. 4 lakh along with the documents. After checking the documents, they said his work visa would be issued soon. Even after a month had passed, his visa was not issued. When he asked, he was told that his visa cannot be issued. Initially, they said they would return the money soon. Later they even stopped picking up the phone. When he personally put pressure on them, the accused started threatening him. On Rinku's complaint, the police have registered a case of fraud against Sushma and her husband Rajesh.
