Jind: Retired SE duped of Rs 19 lakh on the pretext of giving him a flat | News India

Jind, September 13 (HS). Sadar police station has registered a case against a person and the firm and its people under various sections including fraud for duping a retired employee of Rs 19 lakh on the pretext of giving him a society flat.

Sajjan Singh, a resident of Gulkani village, told the police in a complaint on Friday that he is retired from the post of Superintendent Engineer in the Public Health Department. He was working as an Executive Engineer in Bhiwani in the year 2013. His acquaintance Lalit Singla's son Abhimanyu came to him in Gulkani village. He told that he has formed Maa Gayatri Enclave Society for constructing flats. Showing the documents, he said that the society will have all kinds of facilities including parking. He has taken a place near Power House Delhi Road. Believing his words, the farmer deposited Rs. 10 lakh in the account of Satyam Organic Farming Private Model Town.

When he called and asked about the work not starting on the site, he kept giving assurances. After which he deposited seven and a half lakh rupees more. After which he gave one and a half lakh rupees more in cash to Abhimanyu. Despite this, no work was done on the site. When he was asked, he told that there was a dispute between the farmers. Due to which there is a problem in getting the CLU. After which he also met Lalit Singla but he did not give any satisfactory answer. The accused threatened him with dire consequences. When he went to the spot and investigated, it was found that the society did not have any land here. On the complaint of Sajjan Singh, Sadar police station has registered a case against accused Abhimanyu Singla, director of M/s Abhimanyu Risal Height Private Limited, director of Satyam Organic Farming Private Limited and other associates.
