On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and the damaged statue was repaired. On the basis of the complaint, the Uchana police station has registered a case against unknown people for hurting sentiments.
The statue of Baba Dr. Bhimrao has been installed at a square at some distance from the railway line in village Uchana Mandi. Last night, miscreants vandalized the statue installed at the square. When people got the information about the vandalization of the statue, they gathered there and expressed anger. People demanded that action should be taken against those who vandalized the statue and the vandalized statue should be installed.
