Jind, August 14 (HS). Police has arrested two accused while solving the case of blind murder in Julana area. The arrested accused have been identified as Sandeep, resident of village Karsola and Kuldeep alias Kulla, resident of village Lijwana Khurd. Giving information on Wednesday, DSP Rohtash Dhull said that on August 5, Julana police received information that the body of an unknown person was lying near Kharanti bridge in Sundar Branch Canal. On receiving the information, police reached the spot and started investigation, the deceased was identified as Vijay alias Jadeja, resident of village Lijwana Kalan.
On police interrogation, deceased Vijay alias Jadeja's brother-in-law Sanjay, resident of village Dawla Jhajjar, had lodged a complaint suspecting murder. In which he had told that Vijay had a fight with someone over a phone call. After which he left the house and did not return home. In the morning his body was found near Kharanti bridge. On which the police had registered a case of murder. Superintendent of Police Sumit Kumar had issued orders to form a team of Julana police station and detective staff Jind to solve the mystery of blind murder. Police teams have revealed the case in the investigation and arrested two accused. Both will be produced in the court and police remand will be obtained.
There was a dispute over liquor contracts in 2018
Investigation revealed that in 2018, Vijay alias Jadeja and Sheeshpal alias Pali had an altercation over the phone. On which Sheeshpal alias Pali resident Julana went to the contract. Where Vijay and Shivpal again had an altercation with each other. Vijay called Kuldeep resident Fatehgarh to the contract of Lijwana Khurd with a pistol. When Kuldeep and Sheeshpal started leaving from there, Kuldeep shot Sheeshpal alias Pali. From where their enmity started. On interrogation, accused Sandeep told that he got acquainted with Sheeshpal alias Pali in 2023. In June, Sheeshpal alias Pali said that he has to take revenge of his enmity with Vijay alias Jadeja. On which they started searching for Vijay alias Jadeja. On August 13, as per the plan, Vijay and Kuldeep were caught drinking beer in an i20 car between Lijwana Khurd and Dhigana. Vijay was made to sit in Sheeshpal's car and they reached near Garhwali Kheda canal bridge. Both the hands of Vijay were tied with a towel and he was killed by drowning him in water.
