Jind, 15 November (Hindustan Reporter). When the girl refused to dance on the DJ in village Shamlo Kalan of Julana area, the accused along with her family attacked her with a sharp weapon. In which the family members were injured. The complaint about the matter was given to Julana police station. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against 13 accused and started investigation.
Bijendra, a resident of Shamlo Kalan village, told in his complaint to the police that his niece’s wedding was taking place in the village on 13 November. After farewell, Monu, Mandeep alias Lala, residents of Shamlo Kalan came and started dancing on the DJ. Both were under the influence of alcohol. When the family members refused to dance with the women, both of them went home. The wedding procession had left in the evening. After which Monu and Mandeep from the village started dancing on the DJ. On which he stopped the DJ. After which both of them went to their home. They started abusing outside Suresh’s house late at night. When they came out, the accused attacked them. In which his family members Aniket, Bijendra, Rajendra and Shamsher were injured. The villagers intervened and freed him from the clutches of the attackers. On Thursday, Julana police station, on the complaint of Bijendra, named Mandeep, Sonu, Ankit, Sawan, Aryan and registered a case against eight others and started investigation.
