Jind, 30 April (Hindustanism). Expenditure observers Avijit Rakshit and N. appointed for Lok Sabha constituency Sonipat. Along with assuming charge, Karthik held a meeting of the Expenditure Monitoring Team and concerned officials at the Mini Secretariat on Tuesday. He instructed to keep complete details of every type of expenditure of political parties and candidates. He also warned that there is no room for any kind of carelessness.
The Election Commission has appointed IRS officers Avijit Rakshit and N. Karthik as expenditure observers for Sonipat Lok Sabha seat. With the beginning of the nomination process, both the observers have assumed their charge and started working actively. Along with this, he also held a separate meeting of the Expenditure Monitoring Team, Accounts Team and concerned officers and employees. In the meeting, he discussed in detail with the concerned teams about their work and rules etc. Expenditure Observer Avijit Rakshit said that for the Lok Sabha elections, the candidate will have to open his own bank account, through which he will spend for various purposes in the elections. He said that the monitoring team should have complete information about such rules. Candidates have to organize various types of events only after taking permission, about which the monitoring teams should be aware. Be sure to get videography done for every event.
Second Expenditure Observer N. Karthik instructed the monitoring team to send reports regularly in the prescribed format. This work is very sensitive, in which any kind of negligence is not acceptable. You should have complete knowledge of your work and do your work with full devotion. Apart from this, while taking the report of necessary resources, he also gave other necessary guidelines. District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Imran Raza assured the Expenditure Observers that the district administration will work with full dedication and honesty and will not give any opportunity for complaint. He encouraged the monitoring team and other concerned officers and employees to be fully active so that nothing escapes their notice.
