Garhi police station has arrested Jagseer, a resident of Bakhora Khurd in Sangrur district of Punjab, in the case of desecration of Guru Granth Sahib in Gurudwara Dhamtan Sahib. In the complaint given to the Garhi police station on October 9, Gurdwara Dhamtan Sahib manager Harvinder Singh said that someone had written 'Gurjant Mal' on Ang 291, the holy form of Guru Granth Sahib. When the matter came to light, the Haryana Gurdwara Sikh Management Committee was informed.
Which is being investigated by the officials from Kurukshetra and the manager and members of Gurudwara Sahib. During investigation it came to light that the name of Jagseer, resident of Bakhora Khurd Punjab of district Sangrur came up. Who admitted in writing and orally before the investigation committee that while on duty on October 4, he had written Gurjant Mal on the sacred part of Guru Granth Sahib. Who is behind this and other facts are being investigated by the committee. Giving information on Saturday, Garhi police station's investigating officer Harjinder Singh said that the police had registered a case against Jagseer on the complaint of Harvinder Singh, which has been brought under control by the police.
