Washington: Last farewell to former US President Jimmy Carter. It will be organized on January 9 in the capital Washington. That day has been declared a national mourning day. American courts will remain closed on that day. The Supreme Court will also remain closed in honor of the late President. The Supreme Court itself made this announcement on Monday.

Earlier on January 4, Carter’s body will be buried at the family farm near his childhood hometown of Plains, Georgia, after which he will be flown to the Georgia State Capitol at the Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta for the public’s final view of him on January 7. .

The funeral of former President Carter will also be held on January 9 with a 21-gun salute.
