Ranchi, 16 October (HS). Jharkhand Party will contest elections on 20 assembly seats in the state. Party chief Enos Ekka on Wednesday announced candidates for five seats. It was told in the press conference held at Ranchi's Carnival Banquet Hall that Mahendra Jamuda from Manoharpur, Irene Ekka from Simdega, Columbus Hansda from Chaibasa, Anil Kumar Paswan from Kanke and Sandesh Ekka from Kolebira have been made candidates.
Enos Ekka said that Jharkhand Party has been doing politics on the issues of water, forest and land from the beginning. He told that after two days the candidates for the remaining seats will be announced. He said that alliance will also be made with like-minded parties that talk about the interest of Jharkhand. Whatever new government is formed, Jharkhand Party's role will be important in it. Jharkhand Party will address migration, drinking water, employment and other issues in the state.
On the other hand, in the program organized at Carnival Banquet Hall, Rajkumar Munda, elder son of former MLA late Ramesh Singh Munda, joined the Jharkhand Party along with his supporters.
