Jharkhand High Court grants permission to file revised petition in case filed against MP Nishikant Dubey | News India


Ranchi, September 14 (HS). The petition of MP Nishikant Dubey requesting to cancel the case registered in Deoghar was heard in Jharkhand High Court on Saturday. In the case, a single bench of the High Court accepted Nishikant Dubey's application to file a revision petition and directed him to file a revision petition within two weeks. Also, after filing the revision petition, the state government has got four weeks to respond.

Earlier, Nishikant Dubey had requested to cancel the FIR lodged in Mohanpur police station but now the chargesheet has been filed in the case. Which is to be challenged in the High Court through a revision petition. The court has continued the stay on the punitive action against Nishikant Dubey in the case.

Case number 281/2024 was registered against MP Nishikant Dubey in Mohanpur police station of Devghar. He requested to cancel this case. Nishikant Dubey is accused of beating up a person who used to buy and sell bulls in the market in Mohanpur police station area, calling him a Bangladeshi intruder and driving away his bull. Nishikant Dubey caught that person and handed him over to the police. Nishikant Dubey said that cows and bulls are smuggled by Bangladeshi intruders in that area.
