Ranchi, April 2 (HS). Hearing was held on Tuesday in the Jharkhand High Court on the writ petition filed by Shivendra Kumar for confirmation of service of the second batch of JPSC. During the hearing, the division bench of Justice SN Pathak has ordered the Jharkhand government to confirm Shivendra's service within six weeks and provide him all kinds of benefits.
Shivendra had pleaded in his petition that the services of all the officers of JPSC second batch have been confirmed, but their services have not been confirmed. Shivendra was appointed to the post of DSP in the year 2008. Shivendra's advocates Radha Krishna Gupta and Pinky Sau presented their side. Shivendra became DSP after passing the second JPSC examination in the year 2008. The second Jharkhand Public Service appointment was later investigated by the CBI.
