According to the official notification released by Jharkhand Academic Council, the special examinations of class 8th, 9th and 11th are going to be conducted very soon. To conduct the examination in a transparent and malpractice-free environment, special examination centers have been created in all the district headquarters. The examination will be conducted in two shifts (First and Second Shift). The pattern of this special examination will be completely based on multiple choice questions (MCQs) like the main examination. Students will be given OMR sheets for the exam, in which they will have to circle the correct option with a blue or black ballpoint pen. Jack Board has made it clear that in this special examination, only those subjects will be examined in which the students had failed or which were recorded in their main admit card. Along with the examination marks, Internal Assessment and Practical marks will also be added, which will be uploaded on the JAC website through the online portal at the school level.
Admit card downloading date and important guidelines
New admit cards are being issued by Jharkhand Academic Council for this special examination. Students can download their admit card from the official website of JAC, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, through the Principal of their school. The board has instructed all the candidates to reach the center half an hour before the scheduled commencement of the examination. No student will be allowed to enter the examination center without admit card. Also, there will be a complete ban on carrying any type of electronic gadget or mobile phone in the examination hall.
Why is special examination the last and golden chance for students?
This special examination being conducted by Jack Board is very special for those thousands of students whose result was ‘marginal’ or ‘not promoted’ in the main examination. By passing this examination, students will be able to take direct admission in the next class i.e. 9th, 10th and 12th without losing their year. The State Education Department and JAC Chairman have given strict instructions to all the District Education Officers (DEOs) to make proper arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination and security, so that the students can take their examination without any hassle.
