Jhajjar: Revolt over BJP ticket from Bahadurgarh | News India

Jhajjar, September 6 (HS). There has been a rebellion over the ticket of Bharatiya Janata Party from Bahadurgarh constituency in the assembly elections. In its first list, BJP has given ticket to former MLA Naresh Kaushik's brother Dinesh Kaushik instead of Naresh Kaushik. This has caused anger among Naresh Kaushik and his supporters. Kaushik called a panchayat of workers in his new office here on Friday.

Due to not getting the ticket, he cried bitterly on the stage in presence of thousands of supporters. Many workers in the Panchayat protested against cutting the ticket of Naresh Kaushik and demanded the party to change the candidate and give the ticket to Naresh Kaushik. Many speakers accused the party's national secretary Om Prakash Dhankhar and district president Rajpal Sharma of harming the BJP in Bahadurgarh. Angry at Naresh Kaushik not getting the ticket, many party officials resigned collectively. The Panchayat decided that if the party did not change its decision and give the ticket to Naresh Kaushik by 9 September, then they would announce their next count on 10 September.
