Jhajjar, 14 November (Hindustan Reporter). Dinesh, a player from village Kasar in the district, has brought glory to the region by winning a silver medal in the powerlifting games of the recently concluded All India BSNL Championship. The sports lovers gave a warm welcome to the winning player when he reached the village on Thursday. The All India BSNL Championship was organized from 11 to 13 November in Guwahati city of Assam state. Under this championship, various types of games were organized for the employees working in BSNL. In which hundreds of players from all over the country participated and showcased their talent. Player Dinesh, resident of Kasar village of Bahadurgarh, performed excellently in the powerlifting game of this championship.
Due to which Dinesh has won a silver medal while representing Haryana. Dinesh is working as a telecom technician in BSNL’s Bahadurgarh office. He has been interested in sports since childhood. Along with powerlifting, Dinesh also plays Kabaddi and has won many medals in the game of Kabaddi. He has given the credit of his victory to his parents and other family members as well as to his coach Neeraj Sharma. Coach Neeraj Sharma says that player Dinesh is very talented. Some time back he has started playing the sport of power lifting. Coach Neeraj Sharma told that Dinesh is going to be selected in January 2025 and has also been selected for the All India Open Powerlifting Games. For which Dinesh has already started working hard. Coach Neeraj Sharma has expressed hope that in the coming time, Dinesh will definitely bring glory to his village, Haryana state as well as the country by participating in international games.
