Jewellery and cash worth Rs 6 lakh stolen from house

Giridih, 25 July (HS). A theft incident took place in a house located on Tundi Road in Nagar police station area on Thursday. It was told that the homeowner Divyanshu Sharma along with his wife and sister Rachna Sharma were busy in the treatment of his father-in-law and were getting him treated outside.

Meanwhile, when Divyanshu Sharma returned home with his family on Thursday afternoon, he saw that two rods of the kitchen window were broken and jewellery worth about Rs 6 lakh and cash worth Rs 50,000 were stolen from two almirahs kept in one of the rooms of the house.

All the stuff was scattered in the room. Many precious clothes along with gold and silver jewellery were found missing from both the cupboards. During this time, the homeowner Divyanshu immediately gave written information about the incident to the Giridih Nagar Police Station. The police reached the home of the homeowner after some time. And took information about the whole matter.

According to the information, Divyanshu was busy in the treatment of his father-in-law and his family had gone out of Giridih for the last two days for the treatment. And taking advantage of this, the theft incident was carried out in Dipanshu's house. According to the information, a new house is being demolished and built next to Dipanshu Sharma's house. It is believed that taking advantage of this, the thieves cut the window rod and entered the room through the kitchen and carried out the theft.
