Mumbai: The second session of JEE Mains, which is considered very important for admission to engineering courses in various educational institutions including IITs, NITs and other engineering colleges of the country, is starting from Thursday, April 4.
JEE Mains exam is to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) at examination centers in a total of 319 cities across the country including Mumbai. JEE Mains exam is conducted by NTA in two sessions in January and April every year. A total of 12 lakh students from across the country had registered for the first semester.
Happen. Whereas the examination for B.Tech course is going to be held on 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 April. This examination will be conducted in two sessions from 9 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 6 pm. Also, the examination for B.Arch, B.Planning courses is scheduled to be held on April 12 from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
As prescribed in the dress code for this examination, clothing having any metallic objects like buttons, zippers and studs cannot be worn. The student must carry the hall ticket, recent photograph and a valid photo ID. The candidate must reach the center 30 minutes before the examination. After the commencement of the examination, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. Diabetic students will be able to take sugar tablets, fruits and clean water bottles to the examination centre. But packaged foods like chocolates, candies and sandwiches are not allowed.
