The top leadership of JDU has said in clear words that the party will not take any final decision regarding this law in haste. JDU leaders say that they will first thoroughly study the draft of the law prepared by the central government. Further talks will be held on this issue with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and top NDA leaders only after understanding all the clauses of the draft and having extensive discussions within the party.
Uniform Civil Code is a very sensitive subject related to the social and legal structure of the country.
