We have earlier also supported 'One Country One Election'. The Agniveer scheme should be reconsidered. There was a feeling of dissatisfaction among a large section of people due to this scheme. I think his family has also opposed the election, so it needs to be reconsidered.'

'We increased the mandate of NDA in Bihar'

Earlier, KC Tyagi said, 'We have been working as a strong party in Bihar for a long time. The public has also seen how Nitish Kumar has gained the support of a large section of the society through good governance. Our government has increased reservation for women in all areas, with a focus on women empowerment as well as the wider participation of people from deprived communities. We have increased the mandate of the NDA in Bihar. We have once again emerged as a strong partner of the NDA.'

'Bihar should get special state status'

When KC Tyagi was asked which departments JDU wants in the new cabinet so that it can do the best work, he said, 'According to past experiences, during Atal Bihari Vajpayee's tenure there were Aviation Ministry, Defence Ministry, Railway Ministry, Telecom Ministry. We have been demanding for nearly 20 years that Bihar be given the status of a special state. We are neither stubborn nor conditional on the demand for the ministry. Whatever Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar think is best for the development of Bihar, we will accept it.
