Jaipur, July 25 (HS). JDA removed 220 encroachments coming in the road limit for about 4 km on both sides of the road from Jharkhand Tiraha to Purani Chungi Queens Road via Khatipura Tiraha to Lata Circle. To ensure smooth movement of the obstructed traffic on the main roads, sector roads and other roads of Jaipur city, the campaign to remove illegal encroachments being done temporarily on the roads was started from July 15 and it will continue till July 30. So far, 1855 illegal encroachments have been removed in this campaign.
Chief Controller Enforcement Mahendra Kumar Sharma said that by organizing a collective campaign with the cooperation of the corporation, 220 temporary encroachments were removed in the form of platforms, stairs, boundary walls, iron angles, tin sheds, tea and snacks stalls, carts, tarpaulins, iron railings, nets, tables and chairs, hoardings and sign boards, stones, strips etc. built in front of shops and houses in a radius of about 4 km on both sides of the road from Jharkhand Tiraha to Purani Chungi Queens Road via Khatipura Tiraha to Lata Circle. The way of the common man was made easy by removing the traffic obstructions in front of Chauradiya Petrol Pump.
