Amritsar: Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib has sought clarification from Bibi Jagir Kaur, former chairperson of Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee and former cabinet minister of Shiromani Akali Dal. This clarification has been sought on the basis of complaints received by the Jathedar.
Jathedar's personal assistant Jaspal Singh, in the letter issued to Bibi Jagir Kaur, has written that he has been informed that written complaints have been received against him at Sri Akal Takht Sahib that he is insulting the Roma and it is also alleged that he Roma are being insulted for the murder of a girl, due to which the Sikh community has expressed strong protest. In this regard, according to the order of Singh Sahib Jathedar Shri Akal Takht Sahib, it is written that you will have to give your written clarification in this regard in person at the Secretariat Shri Akal Takht Sahib within a week.
