New Delhi. Jasmine Bhasin is suffering from pain these days. Recently, the actress shared that wearing lenses at an event cost her dearly. Due to wearing lenses in the eyes, her cornea got damaged, after which the actress suddenly stopped seeing. Talking to Times of India, famous TV actress Jasmine told that this problem started on July 17 when she started having pain while attending an event.
The actress says, 'I was in Delhi on July 17 for an event for which I was getting ready. I don't know what was wrong with my lenses, but after wearing them, I started having pain in my eyes and the pain gradually increased. I wanted to go to the doctor immediately, but I was at the event so I couldn't go.' Jasmine further says, 'I went to the doctor after the event. I wore glasses at the event and the team helped me a lot. After a time, I suddenly stopped seeing.'
The actress further said that when she consulted a doctor, she found out that her cornea was damaged. She says, 'The next day I went back to Mumbai from Delhi and continued my treatment here. I am in a lot of pain. The doctors have told me that I will be fine in the next four-five days, but till then I need to take good care of my eyes. It is not easy because I cannot see and I am also having trouble sleeping due to the pain.'
Treatment is ongoing
Jasmine Bhasin is undergoing treatment and the actress is slowly recovering. She shared a photo on social media wearing black glasses and said that she is better now than before.
