According to an information, 47.2 lakh tonnes of food is wasted in Japan in 2022. More than 50 percent of this food i.e. 23.6 lakh tonnes is wasted in restaurants. So, if the customer cannot eat the entire meal, he can take it home. For which disposable packing will be provided keeping hygiene in mind.
It is also recommended that liquid be removed from the food as much as possible so that it can be used properly in the container and that the person collecting the food at the restaurant should be advised to go home for treatment.
