The report has given shocking information about the birth rate of the year 2023. According to the report, there has been a significant decline in the birth rate of newborn babies in the country. This is the lowest figure in the last 8 years. Due to which the problems of the Japanese government regarding population have increased.

Compared to last year, the birth rate has decreased by 5.1 percent to 7 lakh 58 thousand 631 in the year 2023. Along with this, there has also been a huge decline in the number of marriages among the people. The number of marriages has decreased by 5.9% to 4 lakh 89 thousand 281. Let us tell you that for the first time in the last 90 years, the number of annual marriages has gone below 5 lakh.

On these rapidly declining figures, a government spokesperson has said that the Japanese government will continue to take big and important steps to support population growth. The government will work on monitoring children. Along with this, the salary of young artisans will also be increased. Japan's Cabinet Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi has said that he is very serious about the decline in the birth rate. If the youth population does not increase by the year 2030, it will be almost impossible to change these figures.

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has said that the birth rate is Japan's most serious crisis at present. Late last year, the Prime Minister announced a number of major measures for families with children. According to current data, the National Population and Social Security Research Institute estimates that this figure will further reduce to 30% in the year 2070. Then the population of Japan will reduce to 87 million.
