Japanese technology model project will be built in CSA to increase the income of farmers

Kanpur, 09 April (HS). To increase the income of farmers of Uttar Pradesh, an agreement was signed on Tuesday with Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur and a delegation of Japan for a model project based on technologies developed by Japanese companies. This information was given by Dr. Khalil Khan, media in-charge of the university.

He told that Vice Chancellor Dr. Anand Kumar Singh told that the technology should be sustainable, should not harm the environment, should be less expensive and such technology should be demonstrated which can give maximum net profit per unit area.

Sako Nodo of the Japanese delegation from Japan said that the technologies developed by various Japanese companies will be displayed on the VK campus of Duleep Nagar under the work area of ​​the university. And the technology will be re-evaluated according to the local conditions.

He told that when the technology will be successful as per the climate and soil of Uttar Pradesh. Then it will be expanded on the campus of the university and later through wide publicity it will also be taken to the fields of farmers.

In the program, Shimada Mitsu Director South Asia told that the main objective of this project will be to improve the economic condition of the farmers. In the Japanese delegation, Ota Masami, the official of the Japanese Embassy in India, and Aman Japan Development Company Kubota said that the project will A working group will be formed to implement the programs. In which representatives of Japan and Japanese companies, scientists of the university and representatives of Uttar Pradesh government will be included. Along with making action plans, they will also decide the future strategy from time to time.

Members of the Japanese delegation today visited the CSA campus for the model project under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by CSA under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Fisheries, Japan and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. In which the signed agreement was discussed in detail for further implementation. In which the Japanese delegation as well as the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Anand Kumar Singh participated.

After the meeting, the field of Agricultural Science Center Dilip Nagar was visited by all the representatives. And after visiting the identified land, discussions were held about the further program from the technical point of view. On this occasion, all the scientists of the center including Director Extension Dr. RK Yadav and Director Research Dr. PK Singh were present.
