Janjgir: Women from self-help groups and various organizations of the district participated in the Prime Minister's dialogue program in large numbers

Korba/Janjgir-Champa 06 March (HIST). Women from self-help groups and various organizations connected with Prime Minister Narendra Modi through virtual medium in the Prime Minister's Samvad program under the Nari Shakti Vandan Abhiyan. The Prime Minister's dialogue program was organized in the auditorium of the district headquarters. Along with this, Agricultural Produce Market of District Panchayat Akaltara in Akaltara Rural and Nariyara, District Panchayat Baloda in District Panchayat Baloda and Paharia, Sadbhavna Bhawan of District Panchayat Pamgarh in Pamgarh and Primary Health Center in Mulmula, Janjgir Rural Auditorium of District Panchayat Navagarh. It was organized next to Janjgir DPRC and in the District Office of District Panchayat Bamhanidih and Gram Panchayat Deori, Saragaon.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave information about the government's schemes to make women self-reliant in villages and cities and to promote women empowerment. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the program through virtual medium, said that women are being respected in our country since ancient times. It is also said in the Vedas that where women are worshipped, God resides there. Female powers are worshiped for fulfillment of desires. For example, Mother Durga is worshiped to gain power, Mother Lakshmi is worshiped for wealth, and Mother Saraswati is worshiped to gain knowledge. On this occasion, Collector Akash Chhikara, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Gokul Kumar Raote, Gulab Singh Chandel, Prashant Singh Thakur, Mrs. Anuradha Shukla, various public representatives, concerned officers, employees and a large number of women were present.
