Korba/Janjgir Champa 27 April (Hindu). Under the direction of Collector and District Election Officer Akash Chhikara, training was given to the officers and employees appointed for the postal ballot team in the meeting room of the District Panchayat.
Joint Collector Gyanendra Thakur, while directing the officers taking training for postal ballot, said that they should seriously understand all the guidelines issued by the Commission for postal ballot. Joint Collector Mrs. Mamta Yadav, Deputy Director Planning and Statistics Mrs. Payal Pandey and the employees selected for postal ballot were present in the training.
In the training, all the procedures of postal ballot were given in detail and during the training, practice of filling all the documents and forms to be filled during postal ballot was also given. Training Joint Collector Mr. Thakur said that on May 1, voters above 85 years of age and disabled people will have to reach their homes and get voting done through postal ballot. Authorized representatives of political parties, BLOs, village secretaries will be present during the editing of postal ballot. Videography of the entire process will also be done.
