Korba/Janjgir-Champa, March 12 (HS). Under the direction of Collector Akash Chhikara, a well-organized Voter Education and Election Participation (Sweep) program was organized on Tuesday through all the Anganwadi workers, helpers and self-help groups of the district. In the programme, newly married voters were honored and an oath was also administered to make them aware of the voting rights.
District Program Officer Mrs. Anita Aggarwal said that the main objective of this is to make them aware of the voters, tell them the importance of voting and motivate them to vote. It was also told that every voter should use his franchise as necessary. In the program, voters were made aware about the franchise and its importance and that India is a democratic country. Do vote to maintain the democratic system of the country. Because voting is not only our right but also our duty. Which we should use in the interest of society. By choosing the right person we can decide the future of the country and society. Every vote is valuable, hence voting should be used to elect the right person without being misled or lured by anyone. Various participants from all the projects of the district participated in the program and women participants participated enthusiastically.
