Prime Minister Narendra Modi's virtual program in the Vikas Bharat Vikas Chhattisgarh program was organized at Nawagarh Pondi (Rachhabhatha) of Janjgir-Champa assembly of the district, at Pamgarh Janpad Panchayat grounds under Pamgarh assembly and at Akaltara, Mandi complex of Akaltara assembly. Former MLA Narayan Chandel, Collector Akash Chhikara, Additional Collector Mrs. Lavina Pandey, Prashant Thakur, Narendra Kaushik, Khamhan Tiwari, various public representatives, concerned officers-employees and a large number of citizens were present in the program.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, by virtually joining the program of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra organized in the capital Raipur, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth Rs 34 thousand 427 crore in the state. These include inauguration of 9 projects costing Rs 18 thousand 897 crore and laying of foundation stone of one project worth Rs 15 thousand 530 crore. In his address on this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Chhattisgarh has a special contribution in the development of the country. The dream of developed India will be fulfilled only through developed Chhattisgarh. The Prime Minister said that Chhattisgarh has hardworking farmers. They are talented youth and a treasure of nature. There is every possibility of development here. Today, the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs 35 thousand crore related to the development of Chhattisgarh has been laid and inaugurated. These include many projects related to coal, solar energy and connectivity. This will create new employment opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh. Prime Minister Shri Modi said that he congratulates the sisters of Chhattisgarh for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, which will benefit lakhs of women.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that in today's program the Prime Minister is inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of 10 projects worth Rs 34 thousand 427 crore. Through these projects, our efforts to beautify Chhattisgarh will be strengthened and we will fulfill the dream of the Prime Minister of a developed India by making Chhattisgarh a developed Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also presented the amount of beneficiary-oriented schemes to the beneficiaries.
Today, in the program organized at Navagarh Pondi (Rachbhatha) of Janjgir-Champa assembly of the district, former MLA Narayan Chandel said in his address that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the Chhattisgarh government has provided pucca houses to 18 lakh poor families and Mahtari Vandan Yojana to women. Benefits will be given under. Along with this, farmers have also been given outstanding bonus of 2 years. Former MLA Narayan Chandel, Collector Akash Chhikara and the present public representatives also distributed new ration cards, soil health cards, Ayushman cards, Suposhan Tokri and gas connections under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana to the beneficiaries.
