Something similar happened with the villagers living in Panora Gram Panchayat of Baloda development block, who did not even have their own land. They were given land through the government's ambitious forest rights lease scheme. Today, after getting the lease of this land, 56 villagers here They are very happy and now they started getting the benefits of other schemes of the government and they started living their lives very happily.

Forest rights patta beneficiary Mrs. Bachan Bai Pati Bhuvanlal, living in Gram Panchayat Panora of Baloda development block, says that “Earlier, her family was in possession of the forest land for generations and had been doing farming, but the name of the land they were occupying was not known. There was no document in any way nor was there any proof due to which they were not able to use that land as per their wish, they were constantly thinking that they might be deprived of the forest land and also might not get proper income. He was just working as a laborer to support his family. She says that when the Forest Rights Recognition Act came, she was given rights over the 0.960 hectare land she was occupying in the year 2023 and her patta was issued. After which now his family is planting paddy, vegetables, oilseeds, pulses on this land, due to which the income of his family has started increasing. Similarly, Heera Singh, father of Indal Singh, who lives in the same village, has been given the right to the forest land occupying an area of ​​0.182 hectares. He said that after getting the lease, he got the right to live with his life. What land did they get? It seemed as if their family had found a treasure of happiness, the land on which their ancestors worked was now in their name, due to which the entire family now started living a happy life. Through the Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development Department, leases have been distributed to 56 beneficiaries in the year 2023 to enhance the livelihood of forest rights lease holders. After getting the lease, KCC started selling paddy. Benefits of loan, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, animal husbandry, poultry farming, construction of dam under MNREGA, land leveling and other schemes have started being availed.
