Saharsa, 24 February (Hindustan Reporter). Prashant Kishor, who set out on a padyatra in Bihar under the Jan Suraj Abhiyan, will enter Sonbarsa in Saharsa district from Beldaur block of Khagaria district on Sunday. Preparations have been completed in the district to welcome Prashant Kishore, the architect of Jan Suraj Abhiyan. Welcome gates have been installed in Sonbarsa. Arrangements have been made for fireworks along with flower garlands. People will come from 10 blocks of the district to welcome the Jan Suraj Padyatra.
Prashant Kishore has been trekking in Bihar for the last 17 months. On October 2, 2022, Prashant Kishore started the Jan Suraj Padyatra from Bhitiharwa Gandhi Ashram in West Champaran. The Padyatra, which started from West Champaran, will reach Saharsa via Shivhar, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Vaishali, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Begusarai, Khagaria. In the coming days, Prashant Kishore will go on a padayatra in all the blocks of Saharsa district.
