A very sensational and shocking incident has come to light from Jharkhand’s industrial city Jamshedpur and adjacent Adityapur area, which has shocked everyone. An example of how people’s anger often goes out of control over small matters was seen late on Tuesday night. A young man from Mango area of Jamshedpur had come to a fast food stall at night to eat veg rolls. It is alleged that the shopkeeper was taking a long time in preparing the veg roll, due to which the customer got irritated and canceled his order. Just on such a small thing, the shopkeeper became so enraged that he immediately took out a sharp knife from his counter and attacked the customer. In this sudden bloody attack, a young man lost his life, while three other people who came to intervene were seriously injured. After this heinous incident that happened at midnight, there was a stir in the entire area and an atmosphere of panic was created all around. Let us know in detail what is the complete and real story behind this sensational murder.
According to the detailed information received, the deceased has been identified as Shekhar, a resident of Mango area of Jamshedpur. On Tuesday late night between 12:30 and 1:00 am, Shekhar was out with another friend in connection with some pandal or event at the local level. Feeling hungry at night after being forward from work, both of them stopped to eat veg rolls at ‘Khau Gali’ or a fast food stall located near the famous Aida Bhawan in Adityapur. Shekhar had ordered veg rolls from the shopkeeper. Despite waiting for a long time, when the shopkeeper did not prepare the roll and kept procrastinating, customer Shekhar’s patience ran out. Expressing his displeasure, he clearly told the shopkeeper that he no longer wants the order and he is canceling his order. Normally, in such a situation, the shopkeeper either says sorry or cancels the order, but in this case, the ego of the accused shopkeeper came in such a way that he took it as an insult and started abusing the customer.
A minor altercation and argument escalated so rapidly that within a few moments a scuffle broke out between the two parties. According to eyewitnesses, when the customer tried to leave the place insisting on canceling the order, the cart operator and his associates, who were enraged with anger, took out sharp knives kept hidden with them. Without thinking anything, the accused shopkeeper directly started attacking Shekhar with the knife. Seeing this sudden deadly attack on his companion, there was a commotion there. When Shekhar’s other acquaintances or some local youth associated with the puja committee ran to the spot to intervene and handle the situation, the attackers showed no mercy on them either. The accused brutally stabbed many people one after the other and left them bleeding. In this sudden and barbaric attack, a total of four people, including Shekhar, got seriously injured and fell down drenched in blood on the road, while the accused took advantage of the opportunity and tried to run away from there after the attack.
Immediately after the incident, other people and colleagues present nearby hurriedly picked up all the injured and immediately took them to the local hospital for treatment. Since Shekhar had suffered many serious and deep wounds on his body and had lost a lot of blood, seeing his critical condition the doctors immediately referred him to a big hospital in Jamshedpur i.e. Tata Main Hospital (TMH). But fate had something else in store, upon reaching the hospital the doctors declared him dead. Three other youths injured in this bloody conflict are undergoing treatment in the hospital. As soon as information about the incident was received, there was panic in the local police department and heavy police force including Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) reached the spot. The police, showing promptness, conducted a quick raid and took into custody three accused, including the main fast food shop operator, who carried out the murder. Police officials say that the matter is being investigated in depth and it is being ascertained whether there was any old enmity behind this minor dispute. This painful incident has once again put a big question mark on the growing intolerance and inability to control anger in the society, where a dispute over the order of a simple veg roll took away the life of a smiling person.
