On June 26, the army successfully carried out an operation in Gandoh and killed three foreign terrorists. After this, the police investigated the intelligence information from the central agencies and on the basis of that the main module of terrorists was busted. This terrorist module was also involved in the recent infiltration. Due to this module, terrorist activities have increased in the upper areas of Doda, Udhampur and Kathua.
Indian Army has busted the main module of terrorists
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the leaders of this module, in connivance with terrorist handlers from across the border, carried out large-scale infiltration of terrorists in the Samba-Kathua sector. This module provided shelter, food and other small things to the terrorists. Through this module, terrorists were trained to hide around Mount Kailash in the upper part of the mountains and forests of Udhampur-Kathua-Doda district and were also told the routes to come and go.

This has been confirmed by the members of the module themselves. The kingpin of this module has been identified as Mohammad Latif alias Haji Latif. 8 other members of the module have been arrested as enemy agents. The names include Akhtar Ali, Saddam, Kushal, Norani, Maqbool, Liaqat, Qasim Din and Khadim.
Anti-infiltration grid will be strengthened
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said the anti-infiltration grid is being strengthened along the India-Pakistan border to prevent infiltration attempts by terrorists. Accusing Pakistan of being an “instrument” of terrorism, the lieutenant governor said it (the neighbouring country) will never succeed in its attempt to disrupt peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir. “The anti-infiltration grid is stronger than ever before,” Sinha said on Sunday. “It will be strengthened to prevent any infiltration attempt. In the last two months, security forces have foiled several infiltration attempts and killed several terrorists in Poonch, Kupwara, Rajouri and Bandipora sectors of Jammu and Kashmir. Security agencies estimate that around 60 to 70 foreign infiltrators are active in the Jammu region in the hills, Following a series of attacks by highly trained militants on Army personnel, pilgrims and police in Udhampur, Kathua, Samba, Doda, Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu region, the administration has redeployed a two-pronged strategy to deploy 1,000 Army personnel in the interior and 1,000 police personnel on the border.
