Jammu Kashmir Elections: In view of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, Ghulam Nabi Azad's party and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have announced their first list of candidates. Ghulam Nabi Azad's party has announced 13 candidates, while Aam Aadmi Party has announced 7 candidates. The list includes candidates on important seats including Ganderbal seat, from where former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will contest. Both the parties are contesting the elections with full force to ensure the victory of their candidates in the state.
The list was announced keeping in view the electoral equations
In the first phase, voting will be held on 24 seats in Jammu and Kashmir, for which the last date of nomination is August 27. The first phase of elections will be held on September 18, the second phase on September 25 and the third phase on October 1, while the results will be declared on October 4. Ghulam Nabi Azad's party and Aam Aadmi Party have announced the first list of candidates for the first phase after studying all the phases and all the seats and considering the electoral equations.
