Gangster interview case from jail: The hearing of the case of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's interview from jail will be held in the Punjab and Haryana High Court today (Thursday). During this, a report will be given to the police regarding the jammers installed for the security of the jails. However, during the last hearing, in response to a question in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, the government lawyer had said that the reason for the delay in the jammer installation project was lack of funds.
During the hearing, the government had told the court that Rs 600 crore will be spent on jammers and other security measures in jails. It is taking time to arrange the funds. In such a situation, the government should give some time. At present, low-power jammers have been installed in 15 jails. A Quach jammer has been installed in Bathinda jail.
When asked about the officials involved in the interview, the government's response was that the reporter who took the interview has gone to the Supreme Court. The SIT formed on the orders of the High Court and the status report submitted so far are not with the Punjab government. They are present with the High Court in a sealed cover. After receiving the report, action will be taken against the guilty officials.
The SIT told the High Court that Lawrence was interviewed twice. The investigation of the first interview case is about to be completed and will be completed by the end of this month. This interview took place at CIA Kharar. While the FIR registered regarding the second interview can be transferred to Rajasthan. The second interview took place at Jaipur Central Jail in Rajasthan. In such a situation, it can be given to Rajasthan. However, Rajasthan has been made a party in this case.
