Jalali got 4.8 million votes, Pezeshkian got 5.3 million votes, but the results of the presidential election in Iran remained inconclusive

Dubai: On one hand, the war between Iran and Israel has increased and on the other hand, the terror of Houthi rebels has also increased. According to the calculations available on Saturday, hardliner Jalili has received 48 lakh votes. While reformist Pezeshkian got 5.3 million votes, he could not be declared president because Iran's constitution requires at least 50 percent or more votes for the presidency. That is, out of 1 crore 20 lakh votes, it is certain that less than 60 lakh votes will be received.

The simple conclusion is that Iran will have to hold another presidential election in the next week or so.

Another candidate in this election, radical Mohammad Badher Kaif, got 16 lakh votes, while Shia cleric Mustafa Pour Mohammadi got 95,000 votes.

These elections are being held because former Iranian President Raisi died in a helicopter crash on 19 May 2024.

Iran is struggling with two conflicting factors. On the one hand it has built nuclear reactors and is making nuclear bombs. It is also said that it has acquired 3 A-bomb enriched uranium (U-230). (Made) On the other hand women do not have the right to vote there and veil is compulsory.
