Jaljeera is as delicious to drink as it is beneficial for health. Its regular consumption keeps the stomach cool and also improves digestion. Ingredients for making Jalajeera-

  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • ½ cup coriander leaves
  • half inch piece of ginger
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp asafoetida
  • 2 tsp black salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tsp dried mango powder
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • 4 cups cold water

How to make Jaljeera

  • To make Jalajeera, first prepare a paste of mint leaves, green coriander, ginger and half a cup of water in a blender.
  • – Now take this paste in a glass bowl, add lemon juice, roasted cumin powder, asafoetida, black salt, salt, black pepper powder, sugar, dry mango powder and tamarind paste to it.
  • After this, add the remaining three and a half cups of water and mix everything well. Now check the salt, lemon juice and tamarind paste. You can increase anything as per requirement.
  • To enhance the taste, keep it in the fridge for 3-4 hours. Then pour the Jaljeera in a serving glass, add ice cubes on top and serve.
