Varanasi, 05 September (HS). On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, the 63rd day of the 75-day stay program of former state minister and Varanasi city South MLA Dr Neelkanth Tiwari became special. On Thursday, MLA Dr Neelkanth Tiwari stayed in Kashi Vishwanath Mandal Dashashwamedh ward of South Assembly. State tourism and Varanasi in-charge minister Jaiveer Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Neeraj Shekhar also participated in it with enthusiasm.
Along with the three leaders, BJP officials and workers carried out a cleanliness drive in the Dashaswamedh area. The leaders cleaned with brooms. During this, garbage collected at many places was disposed of and the municipal corporation employees present on the spot were warned that garbage should not be collected in any corner of the area. MLA Neelkanth Tiwari appealed to the local citizens for cooperation in maintaining cleanliness. During the tour of the three leaders in the area, whatever problems like sewer, drain etc. were seen, the officials were directed to resolve them. The three leaders kept meeting the local citizens. During the public relations, the MLA took guidance from the seniors. After the tour program, 11 saplings were planted in the campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' in Chitranjan Park located in Dashaswamedh. MLA Neelkanth Tiwari said that during the tour program, more than 1000 saplings have been planted so far.
Chaupal at the tea stall
Dr Neelkanth Tiwari held a meeting at a tea stall in Dashaswamedh ward during his stay and listened to the problems of the people. Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh and MP Neeraj Shekhar were also present during this time. Both the leaders praised the stay programme of the MLA.
Minister Jaiveer Singh said that by organizing such unique programs, awareness increases rapidly and public problems are also resolved. He told that this Pravas program is being discussed at many places, and people are following this campaign of public awareness. The minister said that touring with the employees of the corporation during the Pravas and solving even the smallest problems is a unique initiative in itself. By solving small problems related to streets, drains, sewers in time, the possibility of a big problem is reduced.
MP Neeraj Shekhar said that such events strengthen the link between the government and the public. The way MLA Neelkanth Tiwari has pledged to stay for 75 days while being alert, such an effort sends a positive message to the society. Working with the resolve to realize the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of his birthday makes this program special in itself. During this, people were also given party membership through missed calls. Municipal Corporation, Jalkal officials, BJP Mandal President Nalin Nayan Mishra, Municipal Corporation Deputy Chairman Narsingh Das etc. were also present in the program.
