Jaipurites will run on 22nd September for a healthy heart | News India

Jaipur, September 11 (HS). To keep the hearts of Jaipur residents healthy, a 10K Run, Run for Heart race is being organized on September 22 under the joint aegis of CK Birla Hospital and Decathlon. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about a healthy heart and highlight the importance of fitness.

Vice President and Unit Head of CK Birla Hospital, Anubhav Sukhwani said that this race will be organized in three categories – 3 km, 5 km and 10 km. So that participants of all age groups can participate according to their ability. The race will start from CK Birla Hospital, which will pass through Maharani Farm, Shipra Path and from there, passing near a private school, Riddhi Siddhi Chauraha and will end back at CK Birla Hospital. Along with the health conscious citizens of the city, people from various organizations and institutions will also participate in this race. During the event, activities like Zumba dance will also be conducted for the participants. The runners who come first, second and third in every category in the race will be rewarded. Senior cardiac surgeon Dr. Alok Mathur and senior interventional cardiologist Dr. Sanjib Roy and Dr. Amit Gupta said that running is one of the best exercises to keep the heart healthy. During running, we will also give the benefits of running and tips to keep the heart healthy to the general public.

CK Birla Hospital GM Sales and Marketing Sachin Singh said that their aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle in Jaipur and make people aware of heart health. It is hoped that through this race they will be able to further promote interest in fitness among Jaipur residents.
