After going home, the customer found a worm in the food grains bought from the mall and got scared and after informing the mall manager about this, the sale of jaggery has been stopped for the time being.
According to the information received in this regard, Bhaskar Patel, former president of APMC of Padra taluk, went to Osia Mall in Gotri area yesterday with his daughter to buy groceries for the house. Where he paid Rs. 2637 after paying the bill for the purchase and reached home with the goods. This morning when they were packing the groceries in different boxes, they were shocked to see ants crawling in the sealed box. So Bhaskar Patel returned to Osia Mall, where he told the manager about the repellent present in the gourd.
In this regard, Vikas Rathod, working as a manager at Osia Mall, said that we asked him to replace the 5 kg jaggery that we had purchased from him.
The manager further said that we do not produce the goods sold in the mall ourselves. We order all the goods from distributors. After this incident, we have also complained to the distributor and have informed him to take back all the boxes of jaggery. At present, the sale of jaggery has been stopped.
